Silicon Valley DSA Convention Delegate Self-Nomination Form
Hey there!  Thanks for considering becoming a delegate to represent Silicon Valley DSA at the national all-DSA convention in Atlanta, GA. The conference gives chapters a chance to steer the way that DSA as an organization will conduct advocacy and grow into a bigger organization, and it includes the elections for the National Political Committee.

It's a big deal, and a fantastic chance to meet and connect with socialists from all over the United States. Convention 2019 will run from August 2nd-August 4th. We have 13 spots and you can fill one of them! Nominations close June 15 at 8:00pm, and we'll hold elections online afterwards via OpaVote.

To nominate yourself, fill out this form! There is a basic information section and a candidate statement/questionnaire section. The form should take 10-15 minutes. If you have updates or questions, please email info@siliconvalleydsa.org or post in the #ask-the-officers channel on slack!

The delegate chair is responsible for handling communication between National and the rest of the delegation, including making sure everyone registers properly, fills out travel reimbursements, etc.
